Pokemon TCG Collection Tracker Suggestions
Announcements - 30-06-2022
Please use this thread to post any suggestions for our Pokemon TCG Collection Tracker!
We currently have the following suggestions/ideas:
- Search
- Create your own set
- Public Profiles display your set collections
You can view the Pokemon TCG Collection Tracker here.
I'm new here so not sure if I'm missing something but a lot of the older sets our missing from the wizards of the coast line. That's when I use to play and just started again so it'd be helpful to have a list for all please.
Hi subion! Welcome!
The older sets (like Wizards Of The Coast) require us to scan in the images ourselves to add them to the system. So it's a very slow process and costly one too (since we need to either buy the sets or be lent them).
Over time we hope to add the remaining ones though!

I completely understand. Thank you for letting me know
Just started using your site to track and share my collection among friends for trading and it's great! The only problem we ran into is when you go to share your collection through facebook via message it only lets the person your sharing to open the page you're sending at that moment. Is there any way you can make it where it shares the entire collection or be able to visit their collection somehow through viewing their account?

Hi! Do you mean you'd like something like where they can click on your profile (username) and view all your collections that way? We can definitely do something like this.
Each collection you share has a unique link that makes it publicly viewable I believe.

No the link it gives is for only one page of that collection. Can you make the link where it shares the whole collection (all pages)?

This should be fixed now!
Would be nice to be able to sort your collections instead of the default order of which set you started updating first. Also, would like to see a feature inside of each set to not only "show missing" but to "show collected" as well.
can you do so that you can also see our very value your collection has in it and all seen symbols are there and nor you look out next to fine a seen you can also see the seen drawn if it is not too much to ask about
Thanks for recent suggestions! We will hopefully get some new upgrades added very soon.
We just added the latest McDonalds promo set here: Match-Battle
Just implemented search into each TCG Category.
Will be adding a global search for all categories next and then work on a way to calculate the cost of your entire collections :)
Maybe add a 'total collection price' section? I reckon it would be pretty cool to see.
You guys also need to add the 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th generation cards (and some 1st)

EDIT sorry I dont know why its posting this in 1 big paragaph I tried spacing it, but didnt work. I'd like it to do stats. Like tell you how many v's, vstars, vmaxes you have etc. how many normals, reversals etc. broke down by each set if possible. currently I dont even bother to enter how many of each card i have, long as I have 1 (or 1 normal 1 reversal etc) i just click 1, so that it counts it. Adding additional to total doesnt really do anything currently, as there is no tracking of totals, so no point in going through and putting 40 of pikachu for example. Sorting by color (type). Also sort them by cards that can be normal/reverse vs only reversal/holo. Because I find this site incredibly useful when it comes to figuring out what cards can possibly be, as in if i want to collect all the reversals from a set. I browse through and verify I have all the ones that are listed as being normal/reverse, then I do same for reversal/holo etc. But its kind of a pain to scan through visually, and hunt for them, 5 pages sometimes and I have my google sheets page for catalogging anyways, but this site helps me enter that information onto my sheet. Without this site I'd have to google or search each and every card, to figure out if a card can be normal, reverse, or reverse/holo only etc. Sort by rarity? The "rares" in pokemon the normal star ones arent worth much generally, unless they are foil, but even then there's lot of cards that are "rare" but I dont sort them any different than my common/uncommons, because of price. Those cards typically worth more only when holo/reversal. I love the breakdown of each set under the stats page, but can we again get that information for our collection? as in use that to track how many normals, reversals etc we have, and also to track if we have everything from each category. Like if we have all 42 normals, it would say 42/42 so we know what to focus on getting next. 29/59 reversals. that sort of thing. A price/price totals as suggested before. Also your tcg market prices are pretty far off. I use the tcg phone app which is always updated, and commons will be 0.2 cents or 0.5 cents and on this site they are sometimes 10-15 cents, sometimes the rares are off by as much as a dollar. Its great to have a general idea of value but I am not sure where your api pulls that info from, but maybe try pulling from tcg market, or wherever the app pulls from. Dont know if that is even possible, or how would do that. would be awesome to have the prices on here match what I have on my tcg app basically. Then when I add cards here, I know the 2 will line up. But that might be a tough thing to figure out. The main thing for me is breakdown of collection, infographs, charts, graphs something that shows normals, commons, uncommons all that stuff, across a set and or collection. If you can do that, this will be the best collection site out there by miles. If you need inspiration/ideas on how to build this, look at the app Urza Gathering, its an app for Magic the gathering cards, that is comprehensive and has literally everything i listed here, and then some. Its site is synched with the app, and it can pull current tcg prices down, and it breaks everything down etc. So check that out to see what i mean/example of what should make for pokemon collection. keep up the good work and looking forward to future updates!

Thanks for all the suggestions so far! We've just pushed some new changes which include:
- View your Collection Worth by visiting the TCG Set's stat page. We've also added a handy link on the Collection Tracker page for easy access.
- Sorted your Collections by last updated
- Added Global Search, so you can search all sets at the same time!
We'll be adding Lost Origin cards hopefully sometime this week for the big release!
